S-View new version 1.8 has been released

The new version 1.8, compared with the previous one 1.7.1, has the following improvements:

• Improved application performance during context switch, no more occasional delays when closing files
• Memory card full featured browsing dialog added
• More friendly CAD viewer user interface look and feel

S-View 1.7.1: S-View on PC change

A minor issue has been found with the S-View on PC component of S-View 1.7.1 software package downloaded before October 27th 2007. Due to that issue, S-View on PC does not properly display DWF format files on some configurations of Windows.

The issue has been fixed and tested. The S-View installation file, sv_setup.exe, has been updated on the company website as well as our retailers websites.

If you experience issues displaying DWF files using your S-View on PC, please download the updated version sv_setup.exe onto your PC and re-install S-View. Please note, there is no need to uninstall the current S-View on PC version. The updated version should get installed on top of the existing S-View on PC version. Product license key should continue to stay valid.

Please also note that the change is limited to S-View on PC component. S-View on Palm stays unchanged - there is no need to re-install the latter component.

S-View 1.7.1: S-View on PC minor change

A minor issue with S-View on PC package component PDB conversion module has been discovered.

The issue has been resolved and tested. As of Dec 2, 2007 the updated version of S-View installation file, sv_setup.exe, has been updated on the company website as well as on of our retailers sites.

Please take a moment to download the updated version of sv_setup.exe and re-install the S-View on your PC. There is no need to uninstall the S-View version currently running on your PC. The updated version should get installed on top of the existing S-View on PC. The license key will stay valid for the updated version.

Please also note that the change is limited to S-View on PC component. S-View on Palm component stays unchanged - there is no need to re-install that part of S-View package.
